Katy Sexton Swim Academy- Isle of Wight
It is our mission to help as many people as possible to learn to swim so that they can have fun in the water whilst also learning lifesaving skills. Katy Sexton is a Double Great British Olympian and World Champion swimmer. Katy would like to give back something to the local community. At the Academy, we feel it is important for all to be able to swim, be water safe and have fun at the same time! Katy believes being able to swim is vital as we live by the coast.
The swim school offers a range of different group classes for people of all different abilities. We take children from age 3+ at an affordable price. It follows the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) framework. This is well structured and nationally recognised.
We are based at Gurnard Pines Leisure Club which has a warm and clean 25m pool that will make your learning experience fun and enjoyable. It allows swimmers to obtain all aquatic skills whilst also attaining awards for their achievements along the way. Gurnard Pines has free parking with a sports bar and cafe.
All of our teachers are fully qualified and DBS (formally CRB) checked. Due to high demand places will be limited.
